The Ranch House

When the Helmicki family arrived at the Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch in 1995, they settled in the "Ranch House" and called it "home".  Today, the Ranch House* is open to their guests. 

At 2,000 square-feet, the Ranch House offers privacy and seclusion in a beautiful quiet setting. It is a full-size house with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, full kitchen, laundry room, porch, fireplace, and two living rooms. This 2,000 square-foot house is a great gathering place for a reunion or for a large family. The Ranch House provides plenty of modern amenities. This inviting home can accommodate 7-8 dude ranch guests and is cleaned daily.

When you settle into the Ranch House with your family or group, you will feel right at home. Play cards, games, and reminisce about the past or about your day on the ranch…memories are right around the corner in this warm and inviting home.

We provide coolers on every cabin porch and fill them daily with ice. Although we do not serve alcoholic beverages or soft drinks, you are more than welcome to bring any refreshments you would like to the dude ranch. If you need a ride to town or would like us to do the shopping for you, just let us know and we are happy to accommodate your needs.

*Please note that we charge $200 more per person for accommodations in the Ranch House.
